Position Overview : This position is responsible for dispatching, managing, and directing the fleet operations in our Tulsa and Oklahoma City locations. Primary responsibilities include efficient and on-time dispatching, routing delivery of product(s), problem-solving customer and delivery issues, managing company drivers, and maintaining customer service levels.
Essential Job Duties :
Ensure, promote, and create safety awareness and incident prevention while creating and maintaining a safety culture environmentMaintains fleet and other assets to specified standards within budgeted parameters through effective coordination with the Maintenance DepartmentEnsures the efficient loading, dispatching and routing of fleet in alignment with company business needsAudits customer sites to maintain proper barcodes, unit list and site mapsPlans and prepares AM routes for dispatchManages PM routes to ensure routes efficiencyAssists with the ERY / ARY meet weekly to discuss improvement plansAssists with Managing Maintenance Protocols "Truck Service"Prepares shift handover reportsPrepares incidents reports as neededManages routes daily and make adjustments as neededMinimum Qualifications :
Class A or B CDLAt least 1 year experience in transportation management / dispatch along with a thorough, demonstrated understanding of fleet operationsKnowledge of transportation operations and laws, federal safety regulations and maintenance requirements preferredStrong customer orientation in interacting with and resolving customer related issues in a timely, professional, and positive mannerDemonstrated ability to plan and manageEqual Opportunity Employer
