Food News and Deals Writer, Commerce role at People Inc. Agency Worker opportunity. The Commerce News and Deals team is looking for a smart, sharp writer to cover timely, food-related shopping content, including sale roundups, celebrity-approved items, single product reviews, and customer-loved pieces. The writer will pitch and write multiple stories per week from an editorial point of view, using affiliate links so readers can purchase the products. The candidate should understand online shopping, affiliate content, and the voices of People Inc. brands, including Food & Wine and Serious Eats.

The right candidates will be knowledgeable about shopping online, parsing data to make informed pitch decisions, passionate about kitchen products and cooking, and able to create search keyword-driven content.

Assignment details

• 40 hours a week
• Start date : ASAP
• End date : 2 months
• Hourly Rate : $35
• Location : Remote - US or NYC People Inc. office
