Material Handler

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Material Handler, responsible for managing inventory, moving materials, loading and unloading products, and ensuring efficient production flow. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety.

Pay Rate : $15.00 an hour

Schedule and Hours : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm

Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and store incoming materials in the designated areas.
• Move materials within the facility to support production and shipping processes.
• Prepare and load materials for shipment, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Perform routine inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all materials are properly labeled.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies at all times.
• Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and report any issues or shortages.

Material Handler Qualifications and Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.

Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
