Description : Job Purpose
As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for managing sales inquiries, processing sales orders, and supporting customers and dealers through the sales process. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth order management from initial inquiry to final invoicing, working closely with the accounting team, BOM Administrator, and production staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Answer inbound sales calls from customers and dealers
- Directs field consumer inquiries to their nearest dealer for price and order follow up.
- Provide in-house support for dealers and consumers regarding product info, pricing, and order status
- Provide order and product information support for Regional Sales Managers.
- Maintain accurate and functional PCCON data within the ERP system to support reliable quoting and order processing
- Oversee sales order entry and tracking in Epicor, reviewing each order for accuracy and build specification issues, including color option errors.
- Conduct plant tours as part of customer support and lead management.
- Monitor Bass Cat, Yar-Craft and BCBDealers.com websites for accuracy.
- Coordinate pricing and boat information on NADA and Rollick websites.
- Assists in dealer communications, customer service support and provides consumer insight and process improvement feedback.
- Consulting with and Advising Production Floor Staff on orders and build specification.
- Provide support at events as needed (tournaments, shows, community events, etc.).
- Monitor service bulletins from partner vendors (e.g., Mercury, Johnson Outdoors) and communicate relevant updates to the production team.
- Special projects and tasks / duties as assigned or necessary to successfully meet the goals and mission of the organization.
Requirements : Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or related field, preferably Marketing. Comparable life experience with a strong record of achievement in lieu of degree acceptable.3 years’ industry experience or proven marketing achievements in a related industry is desirable.Strong grasp of product positioning, promotion, and return on marketing investment.Demonstrated ability to meet and / or exceed determined sales and activity quotas.A proven track record of strong client relationships.Excellent client service skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Technical Experience.Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint).Experience with CRM Software preferred.Working Conditions :
Some travel required.
