Job Title : RN-Pediatric ICU Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?) : Marietta, GA (onsite) Contract Duration : 13 weeks Working hours : Night shift 6 : 45p-7 : 15a Total hours : 36 Description The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environment that is administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders and is supported through the Shared Governance Model. The framework for practice is steered by the Professional Practice Model and evidence-based practice and research. RN competencies are derived from these models and supported by the Values. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association. As a member of the patient services team, it is expected that the individual upholds the voice of the patient, system policies and procedures while supporting service excellence goals. Requirement Night shift 6 : 45p-7 : 15a Unit Description : The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Kennestone Regional Hospital is a 6-bed unit providing highly specialized care for infants, children, and adolescents who are seriously ill or injured. Our pediatric specialists include PICU intensivist, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, speech therapists, physical therapists, and child life all working in a collaborative environment with a strong emphasis on open communication. All team members have specialized training and rely on state-of-the-art technology to help children thrive.
