Andersen Storm Door Division is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager at our Luray, VA location. The purpose of this position is to lead, manage, and deliver overall business results while driving process of continuous improvement through the entire supply chain. The ideal candidate for this position will an experienced strategic thinking individual who possesses confidence, initiative, and has the ability to lead and develop a high-performance team with high levels of employee engagement morale, satisfaction, and performance.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily operation of the wood core storm door facility ensuring total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and efficient manner.
• Drive strong and consistent results in the areas of safety, quality, customer service, cost and associate development for all areas of responsibility.
• Ensure alignment of activities and resources within the value stream and functional areas. Ensure cross-organization collaboration and associate involvement where appropriate.
• Establishes realistic goals and programs for attaining results for departments and supervisors in managed business section.
• Develop and implement plans to provide continuous process improvement in key areas.
• Establish an environment conducive to high levels of morale, associate satisfaction, and performance.
• Be highly visible to associates and create a safe environment for participation. Promote active / hands-on management to solve problems and promote high involvement approaches to problem solving.
• Mentor developing managers and supervisors by providing coaching, information, ideas, feedback, and encouragement to associates and managers to promote the growth and development of the value stream teams.
• Maintain good employee relations in managed business section by seeing that policies and procedures are understood and applied in a fair and uniform manner

Salary Information :
