Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1570-$1610 per week Med / Surg RN Job Details – Fayetteville, GA Location : Fayetteville, GA 30214 (Atlanta metro area) Position : Registered Nurse – Med / Surg, Transitional Care Unit (TCU) Assignment Type : 12-week travel nursing contract Start Date : December 15, 2025 Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts / week (19 : 00 – 07 : 00) Total Hours : 36 hours per week Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Floating : Within facility and scope of practice as needed Patient Population : Adults and geriatrics Unit Size : 12 beds Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or Compact state (required at submission) Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience (first-time travel nurses welcome) Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred) NIHSS certification preferred Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) preferred Two supervisory references (Manager or above) highly preferred Ability to work required holiday shifts during assignment Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as TIA / Stroke, anemia, UTI, chest pain, and other medical-surgical conditions Manage a patient assignment of 6-7 patients per night shift Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies according to protocols Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac dysrhythmias Perform central and peripheral line care, blood draws, and oxygen therapy Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including IV therapy, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed Float to other nursing units within scope of practice as required Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic electronic health record system Discover rewarding nursing opportunities in Fayetteville, Georgia, and join a dedicated healthcare team committed to patient-centered care.
