Summary of Position : Indiana Wesleyan University invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Psychology on our residential campus in Marion, Indiana. The ideal candidate will combine teaching with scholarly endeavors. Area of specialization is open; however, candidates with expertise in Cognitive and / or Developmental Psychology are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants should show evidence of personal faith in Jesus Christ, full agreement with the Wesleyan-Arminian theology, and commitment to liberal arts learning and the integration of Christian faith and learning.

Start date fall 2026, pending funding.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate courses in one’s area of expertise, while also meeting departmental teaching needs
• Mentoring students in their academic, professional, and spiritual development
• Developing and sustaining a research agenda that involves undergraduates and contributes to the discipline
• Collaborating with colleagues in curriculum development and program initiatives
• Serving the university through committee work, engagement in the broader community, and participation / leadership in state and national professional organizations
