Parts Shipping Laborer

the largest manufacturer of roller coasters and thrill rides, is seeking a full time Parts Shipping Laborer to provide support to the Customer Service Department

Job Summary

The Parts Shipping Laborer performs duties related to the shipping of amusement ride parts to customers, seeing that components are completed and shipped as expeditiously as possible to meet customer schedules, along with other duties as assigned. This position will also use hand or power tools and operate overhead cranes and forklifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow part order specifications, work instructions and procedures for part order requests
• Pick parts from warehouse and package parts based on best practice shipping specifications
• Complete appropriate packaging documentation based on Company best practice and part destinations
• Performs work while standing (usually), bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or occasionally in high positions.
• Lifts and moves more than 25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by tidying up assigned work area and by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned
