Responsibilities :

Decontaminate, clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments in compliance with AMMI and hospital standards.

Maintain and distribute supplies to designated areas as needed.

Complete and verify accuracy of instrument count sheets and sterilization records.

Support operating room staff by locating and preparing instruments and equipment.

Reestablish a clean and sterile environment post-procedure.

Maintain records for Surgery and other departments per regulatory requirements.

Ensure readiness and availability of surgical tools and specialty equipment.

Requirements :

Minimum 1 year of recent Sterile Processing experience (required).

Certification (CBSPD or IAHCSMM) preferred.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

BLS certification preferred.
