Salary : $22.00 - $26.00 / hr

Benchmark Companies is a mulch manufacturing company based in Christiana, TN seeking qualified Class A CDL drivers for open full time positions within our company. Far from "bumping docks" a Benchmark driver is responsible for loading mulch products at various production facilities and delivering those finished goods to our customers. While not required, previous experience on heavy equipment provides added value to the position.

Position Summary :

Load, transport, and deliver mulch and compost products using "live" floor semi trailers. Interact with customers and dispatch to meet delivery schedules and requirements. Home each night with an occasional overnight run possible if interested.

Position Essential Functions :

• Operate Class A,CDL walking floor trailers
• Self-load trailer at multiple locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Report repair issues to dispatch and shop personnel
• Operate vehicle in all weather conditions
