If you are looking for a career in construction, we offer paid summer internship opportunities at the following office locations (Bakersfield, Brea, San Diego, Santa Fe Springs) and also at some of our project sites in our Southern and Central California regions.

Our Summer Internship Program is very learning intensive, so students can expect to do challenging work and to engage in activities that will broaden their awareness of the great career opportunities in heavy civil construction and with Griffith Company.

Interested students should apply no later than end of day on Friday, October 31st, 2025.

What you can expect As a summer intern you can expect to handle a variety of real world tasks in support of our Project Managers, Estimators, Project Engineers and or field personnel.

Below is an example of intern responsibilities :

• Perform job site administration and documentation (under supervision).
• Assist in developing and maintaining a Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule.

Qualifications Students must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following areas or a very similar area :
