We are NOW HIRING for an innovative and solutions-orientated Account Manager for our Fleet Operations Team within BEST Dedicated.

This is an in-office position with regular business hours, Monday through Friday; hours may vary depending on customer needs. This position is based onsite at our corporate office in Kernersville.
Our Account Managers are responsible for :
- Leading and developing a team of drivers that support success and growth with our customer base
- Managing all equipment assigned to your customer base
- Creating long-term, trusting relationships with your customers
- Overseeing a portfolio of assigned customers, and serving as a first point of contact for them, and for the drivers assigned to them
- Ensure on-time pickup and delivery performance, hours of service compliance, and cost control
- Daily accounting of all assigned tractors and drivers; will ensure our drivers have a good understanding of all details of their assigned customer and company expectations on every load, at point of dispatch.
- Developing new business from existing customers
- Actively seek new sales opportunities
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations
- Assist in driver screening, interviewing, and hiring processes
- Payroll, billing, and invoicing as required
- Previous experience supporting agricultural business, particularly live haul operations, is a plus

We are looking for candidates with superior customer service and management skills for this role. Must have the strong ability to multi-task and be process & results driven. Excellent communication skills are a must in this role. Previous freight management experience is helpful in this role , but not required for consideration. Experience with McLeod TMS software and the full range of the MS Office suite is highly beneficial.
