The RN Resident will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care according to departmental needs and nursing standards. Collaborating with healthcare providers, the RN Resident will deliver personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, employing established nursing models like Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. This role also advocates for patients, families, and caregivers to enhance the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions during admission and throughout their stay, reporting any changes in status.
• Implement prescribed procedures and monitor responses as directed by medical providers.
• Oversee the administration of medications, tracking patients for therapeutic responses, and addressing any adverse effects promptly.
• Provide exceptional patient care, responding swiftly to requests and anticipating needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medication effects in understandable terms.

Required Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of hire.
• Other certifications may be required during your employment.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse status in the state.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Potential travel for training may be required.
