Title : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Day Shift, 3×12-Hour (06 : 45–19 : 15) Every Other Weekend
Floating : Yes – must be able to float within scope to all areas of the hospital, including Labor & Delivery
Job Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive respiratory care across multiple patient populations, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.Perform ventilator management, including CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC, flow-by, troubleshooting alarms, and ventilator weaning.Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) interpretation and perform basic EKG-related tasks.Deliver and manage respiratory medications such as bronchodilators, inhaled steroids, nitric oxide, Flolan, racemic epinephrine, and others.Assist with airway management procedures including suctioning, intubation assistance, extubation, airway placement, and tracheostomy care.Support respiratory care during emergency situations and critical care scenarios.May assist in high-risk deliveriesand provide neonatal / pediatric respiratory support when necessary.Manage oxygen therapy and medication delivery systems (e.g., MDI, nebulizers).Document all patient care in the Epic charting system.Float within hospital departments as needed to meet facility requirements.Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experienceTravel experience requiredMust have recent critical care experienceRRT only – CRT not acceptedExperience in adult critical care and emergency department requiredExperience in NICU, pediatrics, PICU, and nitric oxide therapy preferredAbility to manage patient ratios up to 1 : 8Ability to perform duties independently in a community hospital environmentRequired Certifications & Licensure
