• The EEG Tech prepares the patient for testing, administers the test, completes the history  and recording for interpretation, completes paperwork for charging of procedures, and maintains equipment and supplies.
• Informs the supervisor and / or the medical provider of changes in the patient's condition or abnormalities on the recording.
• performs quality seizure monitoring studies and marks events for physician interpretation.
• Ability to observe EEG tracings and respond appropriately to seizure activity.
• Ability to recognize artifact and reapplies or replaces appropriate electrodes.
• EEG experience on Nihon Kohden equipment and software (preferred)
• Minimum two years EEG experience or graduation / certificate from EEG program.
