Schedule :
Part-Time : 16 hours / week (Saturday & Sunday, every other weekend)
Full-Time : 40 hours / week, every other weekend required
Hours : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Behavioral Specialist II to join our Behavioral Medicine team. In this role, you’ll provide direct support, advocacy, and case management services to clients navigating recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration into the community. You’ll also serve as a vital part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct client assessments and intake interviews
Provide individual counseling and crisis intervention
Facilitate group therapy and psychoeducation sessions
Support clients with vocational training, housing, financial benefits, and legal advocacy
Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR)
Collaborate with case managers, social service providers, and community partners
Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical case reviews
Mentor junior staff and case managers as needed
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and behavioral health regulations
Qualifications
Education :
Master’s degree in human services, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Education, Political Science, or a related field
Experience :
Minimum 3 years in mental health, substance use treatment, or related criminal justice work
Case management or behavioral health intervention experience preferred
Certifications :
Licensure (LPC, LSW, etc.) strongly preferred
Must be a member of at least one professional organization
Other Requirements :
Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
Proficiency in CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed therapy
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong documentation and EHR proficiency
