Job descriptionConduct comprehensive assessments and develop individual treatment plans within established timeframes. Facilitate psycho-educational and process groups as defined by the curriculum. Provide individual counseling according to program timeframes and document each session per policies and procedures. Maintain clinical records in accordance with contractual and Spectrum standards. Serve as a role model / mentor for program participants, maintaining professional boundaries, and addressing issues, concerns, and inappropriate behaviors promptly and in accordance with Spectrum's clinical design. CA CB Bachelor's Degree in Human Services field required. State certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in Virginia or similar certification / license recognized by the Virginia Board of Professional Counselors required within two (2) years of employment. Experience working within a correctional or secure environment is a plus.

Offering a $5,000 bonus
Location : Greenville, VA. The Cold Springs Correctional Unit Community Corrections Alternative Program (CCAP) facilitates social behavioral change, cognitive restructuring, and substance abuse treatment programming within an Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) environment to support personal growth and prepare the probationer / parolee to return to the community.
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Pay rate : $24.038 / hr. ($50,000 annually). Candidates with a CSAC, CADC, or equivalent certification / license are eligible for $27.8846 / hr. ($58,000 annually).
