RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details :

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Every other weekend scheduling
• Patient ratio of 5 : 1
• Float to Med Surg, Med Surg Telemetry, and ED holding as needed
• Navy scrubs required for dress code
• Work with GE Telemetry, Pyxis, Welch Allen Vital Sign Monitors, and GE B450 Bedside monitors
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Must have cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Respiratory experience required including advanced airways and oxygen management
• Cardiac drips experience required (not titrated)
• ACLS / ALS certification preferred
• CPR certification required
• Assist with stress tests, heart catheterizations, CABG procedures
• Support paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tube procedures
• Team player personality essential for unit collaboration

Facility :

This healthcare facility features a 32-bed telemetry unit with private rooms located on the 4th floor. The unit maintains appropriate staffing levels with charge nurses, RNs, PCTs, and unit clerks working collaboratively to provide comprehensive cardiac monitoring and care. The facility utilizes modern medical equipment and electronic health record systems to support high-quality patient care and efficient workflow processes.
