Job Responsibilities :

• Invest the necessary amount of time to get to know your team and build trusting relationships with each of them (4 Buyers)
• Work collaboratively with each member of the team to solve problems and improve processes
• Avoid sacrificing long term values for short term results
• Direct & coordinate the activity of personnel engaged in the development of specifications, preparation of bids or awards, negotiation of contracts, & processing requisitions or & POs
• Direct procurement of steel, plastic resin, corrugation, springs, powder coating resins, screws & fasteners
• Manage asset investments of machinery and building expansions, as well as manage indirect (MRO) procurement
• You will be expected to lead or function effectively within assigned project work groups including those addressing company purchasing objectives
• You will be responsible for purchasing agreements, contract reviews & risk management related to work with vendors and contractors
• Oversee, troubleshoot and reconciles the company’s direct and indirect procurement processes while supporting the maintenance of accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records
