Overview
Location : Taylor, Michigan
The Supervisor will be responsible for all administrative and clinical functioning of the program. This shall include all the functions necessary for the delivery of services to the institutions and client populations of the community served by the program.

Must meet the criteria for Qualified Mental Health Professional, including a Master's Degree in social work, psychology or counseling with an LMSW, LLP or LPC licensure from the State of Michigan.A minimum of three (3) years of experience treating adults with mental health and / or substance use disorders is required. Specific experience working in a community mental health setting is preferred.Must have at least one (1) year of experience working in a supervisory capacity.Candidates must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional credential within 120 days of hire. Candidates must possess a CAADC credential, or be on an active, approved registered MCBAP certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire. Upon hire, the application must be submitted for the Development Plan to MCBAP, with or without the required trainings, within 30 days of hire. Documentation of required trainings may be submitted with the Development Plan Application or within 90 days of hire.Candidates for this position must demonstrate excellent clinical assessment, triage and crisis intervention skills, and the ability to handle crisis situations in a calm and professional manner.Must demonstrate competency working collaboratively with clients, family members, agency staff and community partners.Must have the ability to work both independently and as a team member.Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Must have excellent organizational skills and demonstrate an attention to detail necessary to track, prepare and report data.Additional requirements include a nonjudgmental approach that reflects cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs and diverse experiences of adults with mental illness and / or co-occurring substance use disorders and their families.Must have the ability to appropriately handle crisis situations.LMSW, LPC, LLP (Full license only).Cannot accept candidates who are on student / work visas, and / or require sponsorship to work in the U.S. at this time.J-18808-Ljbffr
