Physical Therapy Assistant

We have an exciting PTA contract opportunity at a forensic psych facility. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, and functional ability.ResponsibilitiesCarry out treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist.Lead therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.Monitor patient progress and report changes to the PT.Document services per facility standards.Follow safety and security protocols in a forensic environment.QualificationsActive California PTA license.Experience in hospital, rehab, or similar clinical setting.Ability to work safely and professionally in a secure facility.
