Job descriptionBachelor's degree in IT or related field. 8+ years of system administration / data center operations experience. VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified : Azure / Server Administrator. Experience managing backup / restore validation and redundancy. Clearance : Secret.

Clearance : Active Secret
Overview :
Connexus Hub is seeking a Data Center Lead to oversee daily operations of primary and backup data centers. This role ensures availability, backup integrity, and compliance of virtualized hosting environments.
Responsibilities :
- Lead daily operations of VMware / Hyper-V virtual infrastructure.
- Ensure daily incremental and weekly full backups, with quarterly restore validation.
- Maintain 3-2-1 backup compliance and redundant power / cooling.
- Apply monthly DISA STIG updates across servers.
- Oversee hosting for academic applications, portals, and testing platforms.
