Company Urgently Hiring Metal Mechanic

We are seeking a licensed metal mechanic for a year-long project involving the construction of two multi-family residential apartment buildings. This project includes a 100-unit building and a 200-unit building. You will be part of a 14-person crew, responsible for roughing, installation of PVC storm lines, PEX tubing, and various fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a 14-person crew to complete project objectives.
• Assist in roughing and installation of PVC storm lines and PEX tubing.
• Install fixtures as required by the project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 6 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM. Parking is available on the right side of the building. The work environment requires a yellow safety shirt, work boots, work pants, safety glasses, and a hard hat. The project is within walking distance of fast food restaurants and convenience stores. There is no opportunity for overtime or weekend work at the moment, but this may change in the coming months.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hartford, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 / hr.
