Resource Operations Time Specialist
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Resource Operations Time Specialist to join the team at its Florence Hospital location.
Schedule : Monday through Friday, 7 : 00AM3 : 30PM or 8 : 00AM4 : 30PM.
This position provides clerical support to implement and ensure associate timecard entries align with schedules and daily assignment sheets for associate pay. This position provides timecard support for all participating unit associates and leaders regarding payroll system questions and calculation issues. This role maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
Assigned responsibilities include :
- Processing daily timecard entries and data corrections ensuring alignment with unit schedule, daily boards, and assignment sheets from prior day.
- Pay code entry and transfers.
- Sign-off on biweekly scheduled payroll for unit managers.
- Collect data from managers and associates for gaps and data correction needs.
- Calculates timecard entries and edits, documents according to department standards / policies.
- Makes necessary changes and notifies managers and payroll of payroll corrections in HRMS system.
- Provide timecard support for managers and associates regarding Kronos time and attendance system issues and timecard issues.
- Troubleshoot Kronos time clock issues.
- Assist associates with employee self-service questions and troubleshooting questions.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and Microsoft Teams chats.
- Perform all duties in a courteous and timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality in all duties.
- Processes and enters Paid Time Off (PTO) vs. Voluntary Time Off (VTO) for unworked time in accordance with PTO vs VTO payout forms.
- Maintains the annual PTO vs VTO agreements for all unit associates.
- Reviews payroll exception reports, evaluates exceptions, and aligns with unit schedules, daily boards, and assignment sheets from prior day.
- Collaborative efforts to decrease calls to Payroll team to streamline questions / needs with unit leadership.
- Runs audit of time and attendance system records.
- Notifies managers via email regarding attendance compliance.
- Assist ROC Manager / Director with special timecard related projects and complete other duties as assigned.
- Document and update payroll related procedures as needed.
