Yale New Haven Hospital, the flagship hospital of Yale New Haven Health and the primary teaching hospital for Yale School of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Daytime Hospitalist (Internal Medicine) to join our inpatient care team. Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including admissions, daily management, coordination of tests, and discharge.

Lead care coordination with interdisciplinary teams – nursing staff, consultants, case managers, and ancillary services – for optimal outcomes.

Contribute to education and mentorship, teaching residents, students, nurses, and allied health professionals through rounds, reports, and in-service sessions.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evaluate outcomes, and help implement process improvements in inpatient medicine.

Serve as a professional leader and role model, participating in hospital committees, promoting best practices, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

with completion of an ACGME – accredited Internal Medicine Residency.

Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Internal Medicine.

Must secure a Connecticut medical license, Controlled Substance Registration, and DEA certification.

Must obtain attending medical staff privileges at respective YNHHS entity

Two (2) years caring for medicine inpatients as resident and / or attending physician.

Hold a valid Connecticut medical license,
