About The Position

License : Active RN License

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have :

Strong ICU experience

Experience titrating drips

Experience managing patients on ventilators and BiPAP

Description :

This position involves caring for critically ill patients in an intensive care setting.

The unit has 10 beds with a staffing model that includes a charge nurse and RNs based on patient census.

The typical patient ratio is 2 : 1.

The equipment utilized includes ventilators, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) machines, arterial lines, BiPAP machines, flow-tracks, and IV pumps.

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Meditech.

Candidates who have CRRT experience or experience in transplant care of kidneys, pancreas, or liver will be prioritized.

This role requires total patient care, including turning, medication titration, dressing changes, and tracheostomy care.

Ideal candidates are compassionate, work well with others, and maintain good rapport with physicians.

Weekends are required on a rotating schedule.
