Job description

Inpatient Cardiology APRN or PA - Renown Health Beautiful Lake Tahoe / Reno Area Practice

Renown Health, northern Nevadas largest health system and the only not-for-profit, integrated health network in the Reno area, is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Cardiology APRN or PA  to join our dynamic, physician-led multispecialty medical group. This full-time role follows a 7-on / 7-off rotation and is based in our acute care setting, providing direct cardiovascular care in collaboration with Renown Health cardiologists.

Renown serves a population of over 1 million patients across northern Nevada, Lake Tahoe, and northeast California. As the regions only Level II trauma center and ECMO-capable facility between Salt Lake City and Sacramento, we offer a robust and collaborative environment for advanced practice providers.

Located just 25 minutes from the nearest ski resort and 35 minutes from the shores of Lake Tahoe, Reno offers a mild four-season climate, over 300 days of sunshine, and access to world-class outdoor recreation. Position Details

Full-time employed position with Renowns Cardiovascular Service Line

Inpatient-focused role with a 7-on / 7-off schedule

Collaborate with cardiologists to manage acute, chronic, and complex cardiac patients

Participate in patient rounds, diagnostic procedures, treatment planning, and family education

Emphasis on health promotion, disease prevention, and patient advocacy

Active role in quality assurance, peer review, and clinical education

Qualifications & Skills

Current APRN or PA

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work autonomously and efficiently in inpatient cardiology settings

Commitment to ethical practice, continuing education, and clinical excellence

Experience in cardiology or inpatient medicine preferred
