Job Title : General Production Worker

Job Description

Successful Profile Technicians enjoy the challenges of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while safely completing the processes associated with manufacturing order-specific profiles starting with our raw materials, handling quality checks, and then packaging the finished product.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure correct materials in appropriate quantities are supplied to the production lines.
  • Successfully complete line / equipment start-ups in a timely manner.
  • Perform color and tool changeover while operating profile lines with established procedures.
  • Perform quality checks to meet client specifications for color, pattern, length, and width.
  • Troubleshoot equipment as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with production, extrusion, and machine operation.
  • Ability to read and use measurement tools such as rulers.
  • Experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to handle situations by working as a team.
  • Capability to recognize and take action upon what needs to be done with little to no supervision.
  • Motivated to increase skills and progress.
  • Desire to work in a team-based environment where decision making is at the team level.

    Work Environment

    This role is based in a manufacturing facility where plastic extrusion takes place. It can get hot near the machines. The environment is fast-paced, and teamwork is highly valued.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Green Bay, Wisconsin.
