A company is looking for an Underwriting Manager to lead a team of case underwriters and collaborate across various departments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams on underwriting processes and campaigns
Evaluate medical and personal history for life insurance applications up to $8 million
Develop team members and enhance underwriting guidelines through audits and feedback
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of people leadership experience
8+ years of life insurance underwriting experience at a leading carrier or reinsurer
Experience in developing underwriting guidelines and programs
Demonstrated interest in innovation within the insurance sector
Experience with accelerated underwriting and third-party evidence providers is a plus
