Cycle Counter In Foothill Ranch!!
Location - Foothill Ranch
Shift : 6am - 2 : 30pm Monday - Friday
Pay Rate : $18 - $20 / he DOE
Job Summary Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified and accurately reflected in reported inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform cycle counts based on the defined grouping system as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports.
- Assist in identifying root causes of inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Respond promptly to Warehouse, Production, and Engineering inquiries regarding inventory.
- Support Warehouse Picker / Packers in locating materials.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Report any process issues to the lead or supervisor.
- Ensure the highest level of accuracy and provide excellent service.
- Follow management directions and respond appropriately to instructions.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Qualifications
Clerical experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment is a plus.Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills.Ability to work independently while effectively prioritizing workload.Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to also work independently.Effective communication skills via email and phone.Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.Must accurately track counted items.Computer Skills
Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and order processing systems preferred.Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel desirable.Ability to operate an RF gun.Physical Demands The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform this role.
Must be able to continuously sit, stand, and walk for up to eight (8) hours.Frequent reaching, twisting, bending, stooping, and occasional climbing.Frequent use of hands for simple grasping, typing, and fine manipulation.Good hand-eye coordination; ability to open and close boxes.Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs with or without assistance.Infrequently lift and carry up to 35 lbs with or without assistance.Pushing / Pulling Requirements
