Aluminum Finisher Day Shift Ogden, UT

Primary Function : Responsible for surface finishing and initial formal inspection of castings in order to meet external quality requirements.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities :

• Selects appropriate finishing equipment and tools.
• Finishes castings while maintaining dimensional tolerances.
• Understands and uses measurement tools to ensure proper dimensional tolerances.
• Visually inspects castings for defects.
• Makes determination whether part goes forward in production process.
• Documents weld maps accurately.
• Blends welds when necessary.
• Rough blasts parts.
• Maintains lot integrity.
• Ensures paperwork is properly done.
• Helps other areas as needed.
