State Licensed Orthopedic Spine Director

A company is looking for an Associate Medical Director, Orthopedic Spine Surgery.

Key Responsibilities

Provide timely medical reviews that meet quality parameters

Document all communication and decision-making accurately in workflow tools

Conduct peer-to-peer discussions with treating providers regarding clinical information and review outcomes

Required Qualifications

Completed US-based residency in Orthopedic or Neurosurgery and fellowship in Spine Surgery

Board certification as an MD or DO with a current unrestricted state license to practice medicine

5+ years of clinical practice beyond residency / fellowship

1+ years of managed care utilization review experience is preferred

Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
