Job Title : Assembler II

Location : Dubois, PA 15801

Shift : 12-hour shifts | 6 : 00 AM 6 : 00 PM | 2-2-3 rotation schedule

Duration : 6 months

Pay Rate : $16 / hr. (W2, no benefits)

Position Summary

We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as an Assembler II at our Dubois, PA facility. This entry-level position involves assembling and testing gas meters and related components. No prior experience is required-training will be provided. Candidates must be comfortable with physical work, following safety protocols, and working 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and / or test mechanical and electrical components following written instructions.

Use basic hand and power tools, fixtures, and jigs to complete assembly tasks.

Follow safety and quality guidelines; complete all required training.

Inspect and test parts for accuracy, quality, and functionality.

Record hours and production data in ERP system (ShopVue).

Maintain clean and organized work area (5S / housekeeping).

Perform minor variations of standard product assemblies as needed.

Read and understand simple layout and assembly drawings.

Participate in continuous improvement and process efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience, technical coursework, or hands-on skills.

1 3 years of manufacturing, assembly, or related experience preferred (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply).

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 12 hours per shift.

Lift and carry up to 30 lbs safely.

Perform bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling as required.

Climb and descend stairs during shifts.

Work in an environment with dust, dirt, and moderate noise (hearing protection provided).

Additional Details

Steel-toe shoes required.

Eye and ear protection provided by the company.

Likely to convert to full-time after contract period based on performance.
