TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 52402!

Pay Information

$2,434 per week

About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse (RN)

Specialty : Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Rotating

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1.5 years NICU experience required

License : State License - Iowa

Certifications : PALS (AHA), BLS, NRP

Must-Have : EPIC EMR experience

Comfortable and willing to float across NICU and Pediatrics

No first-time travelers

Description :

This position offers same-day interviews.

Please prepare qualified candidates to receive a call from a local area code.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.

The NICU has a bed size of 22.

The Pediatric unit has a bed size of 17.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 3 unless acuity requires more.

Equipment used includes Drager CPAP and Vent, HFOV, Jet, Cooling, and CFM monitor in NICU, as well as Drager CPAP and Vapotherm in Pediatrics.

Drugs administered in the NICU may include vasopressors and sedation medications.

In Pediatrics, insulin titration is performed per order / protocol.

Scrubs must be in black, navy, or Caribbean blue pants paired with designated tops.

Holiday work is required during the winter holiday season with limitations on days off requested during high-demand periods.

References are highly preferred during the onboarding process should a candidate accept an offer.

Proof of a taxable address is required to verify criteria related to local traveler policy.
