Construction and project safety oversight professional needed to support Sr. HSE Manager with on-site construction, project, general safety and compliance oversight. Located in Louisville, KY, this role will report on site to the clients manufacturing / distillery operation and surrounding regional locations.

What This Job Involves :

• Lead EHS construction and project management safety oversight
• Liaison with contractors and support ongoing project EHS assessments, audits and field inspections
• Coordinate and review regulatory permits and regulatory submissions
• Monitor EHS management system data to measure injury and illness trends and work with site personnel to recognize and manage improvement opportunities to prevent negative trends.
• Learn hazard identification and risk assessments that apply to task, departments, and the overall site that includes but is not limited to - chemical use, machine safeguarding, ergonomics, walking-working surfaces, material handling, etc., to reduce the risk and prevent work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Maintenance of safety equipment and supplies including but not limited to weekly / monthly inspections, calibrations, and certifications where applicable; Testing and checking eyewash stations, showers, and fire extinguishers
• Assist with EHS audits, inspections, hazard assessments, accident investigations, and CAPAs in EHS management system.
• Assistance with implementing training programs EHS safety policies, and practices,
• Coordinate employee safety benefit programs
• Facilitation of EPA, RCRA, MNDR posting of records in EHS management system and assistance with the environmental filing
