Summary

HII Mission Technologies is seeking an F-35 Configuration Analyst to support aircraft acquisition and lifecycle activities for the DoD. This role demands expertise in configuration control, technical data evaluation, and regulatory compliance within complex aircraft systems environments.

This is a hybrid position that will require some onsite work located in Arlington, Virginia.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Execute and oversee configuration management processes including :

Configuration identification, control, audits, and status reporting

Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) evaluations and approvals

Compliance with DoD CM policies, procedures, standards, and review cycles

Provide support across development, production, ground support equipment, ancillary systems, testing & evaluation, and fleet operations

Analyze and disposition Major Variance Requests, Specification Change Notices, Engineering Change Requests / Proposals, and related documentation

Ensure accurate processing of all Class I (Major) changes and variances

Track and report CM metrics in alignment with DoD-level Data Management Program policies

Guide stakeholders on CM best practices and change control strategies

Required Qualifications

8 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.

Minimum 4 of the last 8 years in program management, technical analysis, or business analysis

Aircraft systems configuration management experience

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in CM evaluation tools and reporting systems

Familiarity with DoD and international acquisition standards

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Clearance : Active SECRET security clearance
