The Opportunity : Join the dedicated team at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City as a Nuclear Cardiology Registered Nurse! In this exciting role, you'll collaborate closely with an exercise physiologist and a nuclear medicine technologist to supervise exercise and pharmacologic stress testing for adult and geriatric patients. Our nationally recognized team is a leader in stress testing with myocardial perfusion imaging and has pioneered the use of cardiac positron emission tomography (PET) with the first dedicated digital PET camera in the nation.

Schedule : Enjoy a work-life balance with a Monday to Friday schedule. No weekends, no call, and no holidays, with 8-hour shifts!

The Work :

Supervise exercise and pharmacologic stress testing for both inpatients and outpatients in the nuclear cardiology laboratory.
Utilize advanced history and physical assessment skills, along with ECG and arrhythmia interpretation.
Handle radioactive materials with care and precision.

We are looking for a team-focused and patient-centered nurse who possesses advanced assessment skills, experience with peripheral IV access and removal, medication administration, and advanced ECG interpretation. To thrive in this role, you should be an experienced nurse with strong multi-tasking, critical thinking, and time management abilities.

Applicable Experience : 2 years

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross

Registered Nurse - Various

Associate Degree - Nursing
