Job description

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for a partnership track position in Buffalo, NY. The successful candidate will represent clients in legal proceedings, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice on transactions.

Duties

Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients.
Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.

Requirements

Admitted to practice in New York State.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to build rapport with clients.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

Licensed to practice law in New York State.

Skills
