Security Officer - Retail Site - Afternoon Shift
As a Security Officer in Happy Valley, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help create a secure environment for customers and staff. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your strong communication skills and commitment to customer service will make a positive impact on everyone you encounter. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required.Support loss prevention efforts by remaining alert to potential theft or policy violations within the retail environment.Communicate professionally with store staff, visitors, and / or law enforcement as needed.Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.What We're Looking For :
