Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Respiratory Therapist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : ASAP Duration : 26 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Summary The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care to patients across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations in an inpatient hospital setting. The therapist is responsible for performing a variety of respiratory treatments, managing ventilators, assisting with transport, and supporting multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care. Responsibilities Perform and manage all respiratory treatments, ventilator management, patient transport, and arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling Provide care for adult, pediatric, and NICU patients as assigned Utilize Draeger (Adult) and Servo U (Peds / NICU) ventilators Operate BiPAP (V60), Vapotherm, Optiflow, Cough Assist, HillRom Vest, Metaneb, and ResMed CPAP devices Assist with intubations; not required to perform independently Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and respiratory leadership available 24 / 7 Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Epic EMR Participate in float assignments to Meridian and Nampa campuses as needed Follow hospital and department policies, ensuring safe and professional patient care Requirements Experience : RRT : Minimum 2–3 years of experience CRT : Minimum 3–5 years of experience Experience in NICU Level III, Pediatrics, and Adult Care required Familiarity with NAVA (Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist) on Servo vents preferred First-time travelers accepted Licenses & Certifications : BLS (All) ACLS (Adults) PALS (Pediatrics) NRP (Neonatal) RRT preferred (will accept CRT with required experience) Education : Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Job ID : T4H - 914 About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
