Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position requiring at least 1 year of home health experience and a current BLS and state license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

Home health setting servicing regions including Sonoma, Marin, Contra Costa, Alameda, Santa Clara, San Joaquin / Stanislaus, and Sacramento counties

Caseload is measured by weekly visits, with a minimum of 23-24 visits per week expected

Patient population includes geriatric home health and wound care cases

Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with no weekends or mandatory on-call

Must be flexible to cover assigned territories and potentially surrounding counties

Charting is performed on Kinnser / WellSky, and all documentation must be completed onsite

Any color scrubs with closed-toe shoes are permitted as dress code

Caseloads are focused on patient-centered care rather than a strict patient-per-day metric

IRS standard mileage reimbursement from first to last patient is provided

Free residential parking is available

First-time travelers are accepted for this position

All requested time off must be submitted prior to offer and no additional requests will be accepted after an offer is made

Contract length is 4-6 months; less experienced clinicians must commit to a 6-month assignment

Qualities valued include punctuality, self-direction, and strong charting completion skills

Team members are provided with tablets for on-site documentation

Valid state PT license required at the time of consideration; license required if applicable

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of home health experience and 2 years overall clinical experience required

No adverse actions or hits on license history

Must have professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years

Must provide a full 7-year work history with any gaps explained

All required documents must be submitted before starting

COVID vaccination required with option for religious declination; flu vaccination may be declined with documentation
