The Grounds Maintenance is responsible for delivering excellent craftsmanship with each project they work on and ensure projects are executed in a timely and effective manner.
Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Perform landscaping and lawn care as neededMaintain all equipment in top conditionMust be able to use a riding lawn mower, weed eater and trimmers, etc.Replace light bulbs in the lobby, elevator, entryway, hallways, or stairwell when necessaryKeep sidewalks clear of weeds and obstructions and add salt to remove ice when necessaryRemove weeds from all landscaped areas, parking lots, and curbsPerform preventative maintenance on necessary equipmentResponsible for the care, maintenance, and inventory of all ground supplies and equipment owned by the property and / or management companyNotify supervisor of any resident or safety issues such as maintenance needs, resident issues or changesInteract positively with residents to maintain high levels of resident satisfactionDemonstrate strong professionalism and integrity as a representative of the communityContribute to cleanliness and curb appeal of the communityComply with all industry Fair Housing rules and regulationsOperate within OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all timesOther duties as assigned by Property Manager or Maintenance SupervisorRequired Skills and Qualifications
