As a Security Officer Unarmed Retail Patrols Full-Time in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Your presence and proactive approach will contribute to a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle as well as on foot. Pay Rate : $21.71 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual circumstances.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Remain visible and approachable to assist customers and staff with security-related questions or concerns.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
