Ladybird Montessori School is located on 14.5 acres in Buda, TX. We are an American Montessori Society Verified school. All of our Lead Guides, in each classroom, are Montessori Certified. Our school is nature based and has numerous playgrounds, outdoor classroom spaces, and a working farm.

The Elementary serves children from 6 years - 12 years of age. The position requires a love for children, a proactive work ethic, and respectful communication practices. This is a great position for a child development, or an education major, who is wanting to build resume experience. It is also great for someone interested in pursuing a career as a Montessori Lead Guide. This position will work directly under Ms. Lexi in our Lower Elementary Roadrunner room that serves children from 6-9 years of age. The position also helps support the beginning of the Elementary After Care program after the school day has ended. This position will also work the Elementary Summer Camp program in the months of June and July.

This position has upward mobility potential towards eventually moving into a Lead Guide position as our Elementary expands, which is why we are requiring candidates to have a Bachelors degree, or be enrolled and attending a Bachelors degree program. We will be adding additional elementary classrooms over the next few years at Ladybird so there is upward mobility potential for our Elementary Assistant Guides. Guides who are actively attending a MACTE accredited Montessori elementary teacher training program while working as an Assistant Guide qualify to make $20 / hour.

The position will start on May 1, 2025.

Hours :

Monday-Friday from 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm

Compensation : $16.00-$18.00 / hour DOE (and up to $20 / hour for employees attending a MACTE accreditation program.)
