- Recording treatment information in patient charts
- Taking radiographs as directed by the doctor
- Evaluating periodontal conditions and creating treatment plans
- Providing excellent customer service by escorting patients to and from the treatment room
- Administering Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen
- Applying topical agents and sealants
- Assisting doctors during clinical exams and recording findings
- Performing oral cancer exams
- Scaling, polishing, and applying fluoride to teeth
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments
- Inspecting patients’ oral cavities and charting conditions
- Educating patients on preventive care and home care
- Cleaning restorations and appliances
- Scheduling follow-up appointments
- Implementing and monitoring recall systems
- Any other duties as assigned Qualifications : What You’ll Need to Succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
- Valid X-ray certification Compensation : $48 - $55 hourly
