The Role

The Electrical Engineering Technician (EET) assists the New Product Development (NPD) electrical engineering team with the design and development of new and existing lithium-ion battery and charger / power system designs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Tests / troubleshoots / debugs assembled PCBs and systems.
• Assembles / modifies engineering prototype systems and PCBs
• Inspects designs and finished products for quality control and compliance with regulations.
• Builds, calibrates, and repairs electrical instruments and testing equipment.
• Analyzes test information to resolve design problems.
• Conducts research experiments and produces professional reports.
• Takes direction from NPD team and executes independently.

What You Bring :

IPC-610A, or equivalent, solder certification desired

Altium CAD

Travel up to 10% of the time to support field issues or projects at other Ultralife sites.
