\n\nJob Description\n

The Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive care for patients in various critical care settings. This role involves the management of ventilator support, aerosol therapy, and airway management, while adhering to safety and quality standards. The therapist will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as ordered.

    • \n

  • Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and intervene as necessary.

    • \n

  • Manage ventilated patients, including weaning from mechanical ventilation.

    • \n

  • Perform chest physiotherapy and airway management interventions.

    • \n

  • Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory care and equipment use.

    • \n

  • Coordination with healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Respiratory therapy.

    • \n

  • Experience in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department is required.

    • \n

  • Current RRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications are required.

    • \n

  • State license is mandatory.

    • \n

  • Trauma Level I or II experience is preferred.
