Channel Sales Manager

About You and The Role
As a Channel Sales Manager, you will drive revenue growth by effectively managing relationships with existing distributors and proactively developing new partnerships with value-added resellers (VARs) to expand market presence in underrepresented geographies. You will develop a deep understanding of the purchasing decision-making process within financial institutions of all sizes for ATMs and related products. Your responsibilities will include educating distributors and end-users on the company's differentiated value proposition, collaborating with internal teams to identify, qualify, and advance sales opportunities, and guiding those opportunities through the entire sales cycle to successful closure. You will carry an individual revenue quota and be expected to consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets.
A Day in The Life
- Define and execute a territorial sales strategy to meet sales and margin targets for region.
- Develop territory sales plan and prospect new opportunities in target markers to promote full product line.
- Manage existing distributor relationships
- Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to increase brand awareness and create product demand
- Identify market opportunities and growth areas within sales channels
- Educate, motivate and empower distributors to compete and win.
- Act as the liaison between distributors and internal cross-functional teams
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
- Assist with sales through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
- Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
- Complete weekly, monthly and annual reports for management review of progress.
- Maintain and update an online program of each partner sales prospect to be used for equipment forecasting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or related field preferred.2-4 years of sales and / or business development experienceSalesforce experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office preferredDemonstrated record of achievement in a prior banking or similar type sales positionStrong closing skills; Excellent communication and negotiation skillsProven oral, written, telephone, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize the features and benefits to customersStrong track record of over achievement against assigned quotaProven success selling high-value conceptual services to retail or financial executivesExcel at "hunting" and closing new business against industry competitors, overcoming resistance to change and developing advisor-based relationshipsPhysical & Work Environment Requirements
