Job Description
Position Summary : This position will provide overall on-site and administrative support for all aspects of jobs to ensure project objectives are met.
Salary Range : $,65,000 - $85,000 Annually
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Prepare submittals
- Monitor costs of each job by reviewing, coding and approving invoices; assure correct rates
- Track daily quantities of materials
- Verify daily labor and equipment utilization, report to main office for payroll
- Issue and manage subcontracts and purchase orders
- Assist in coordination of subcontractors and material deliveries
- Create and track RFI's, change orders & equipment list.
- Prepare and track project log, daily costs vs. project budget, extra / force account work and time keeping.
- Assist in development and monitoring of project and master schedule
- Review and monitor accounts payable and subcontracts for accuracy and compliance.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, inspectors, etc., providing customer service as necessary
- Perform plan take offs and assist in creating estimates
- Field mark, submit and maintain USA dig tickets
Summary of Experience and Education
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.3-5 years construction management and / or craft supervision experience in a similar field of constructionKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction including technology, equipment methods, craft agreements, jurisdictions and negotiations.Experience with the following software is a plus :◦Viewpoint job cost software
◦Bluebeam
◦MS Project scheduling
